Marc Larson,
PT,
Golf Performance Specialist, Titleist Performance Certified Level 1
Clinical Director

Marc is one of the top Golf Fitness Experts in the country.  He holds a Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Utah and has 30+ years of knowledge in sports medicine and rehabilitation.  Marc was instrumental in developing a nationwide injury prevention program for professional skiers in Park City Utah.  His annual involvement in the Gerald Ford Celebrity Golf Tournament in Vail Colorado initiated his fascination with golf.  Marc is Certified by the Titleist Performance Institute and has spent the last few years working with golfers in the Orange County area.

With Marc’s extensive knowledge of the human body and his love for the game of golf he has been able to help golfers of all levels to achieve new performance accomplishments.

“I am fortunate to be able to use my skills as a physical therapist and apply them to such a great sport.  More and more we realize that golf is a demanding sport and we must train appropriately.  Too many golfers are training inappropriately and are not meeting the physical demands needed by their golf game and so they soon stop exercising.  We see the greatest change, when we combine manual therapy techniques, golf specific exercises and biofeedback (through the use of golf specific technology) systems.  This is definitely one of the keys to success that I’ve seen in the golfers that have committed to our program.”

Stephanie has committed to working with golfers of all ages and abilities to perform golf at a higher and safer level, based on the body principals of Body Balance for Performance.  Body Balance principals started with ten years on the PGA tour.  Stephanie has trained with the founder of Body Balance for Performance, Paul Callaway, PhD, PT who was the first Physical Therapist on the PGA Tour.

Stephanie has been instrumental in the rehabilitation and conditioning of police officers, university level Rugby and Football teams in her past.  Her love for the game of golf brought her to Body Balance for Performance.

“What we know from the PGA Tour professionals is that they move their body through the golf swing with a specific sequence.  Through flexibility, strength and balance training we teach each golfer to move more efficiently, which eliminates common swing flaws, eliminates pain and injuries and adds distance and consistency to your golf game.”
